ActionAid presents … ‘I’m Every Woman (6 Degrees re-work)’ has taken the original classic by Chaka Khan and given it an addictive, haunting, soulful twist, featuring compelling vocals from an eclectic and exciting mix of female British talent. Produced for UK Action Aid by President of Epic Records, Amanda Ghost, and featuring vocals from Róisín Murphy, Sinead O’Connor, Micachu, thecocknbullkid and Alessi’s Ark, the track is inspired by the story of a 20 year-old single mother from Kampala, Uganda.
The 6 Degrees Project is inspired by the idea that we are all only six introductions away from everybody else on the planet.
